Project Manager - Site Development & Heavy Civil ConstructionWe have partnered with a leading site development and heavy civil contractor specializing in commercial and private projects. They are committed to delivering high-quality site work, including excavation, grading, utilities, and paving and focus on Data Center and EV infrastructure site development projects. The team is built on a foundation of expertise, integrity, and a passion for excellence in construction.We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join the team. This role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing large private site development projects, and is passionate about leading teams to successful project completion.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution: Oversee site development projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.Team Leadership: Direct field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain efficiency, safety, and productivity.Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and successful project delivery.Budget & Cost Control: Manage budgets, track costs, and negotiate contracts to maximize project profitability.Scheduling & Logistics: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate material deliveries, and resolve logistical challenges.Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies.Qualifications & Experience5+ years of experience in project management within site development, heavy civil, or commercial construction.Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, utilities, stormwater, and paving.Proven track record of successfully managing projects ranging from $3M-$50M in value.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications.Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, HCSS, or similar).Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.Why Join the team?Industry leadingsalary & performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and 401(k).A dynamic team environment with opportunities for professional growth.Be part of a company that values quality work and long-term partnerships.If youre a results-driven Project Manager looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in Central Virginia, wed love to hear from you!
