Job Title: Education Program Manager Position Description:The Education Program Manager for Insurers of Tennessee is responsible for managing the learning systems, credentialing, certification, and continuing education programs, ensuring that all related activities and requirements are fulfilled. The manager contributes to the association's mission by providing education programs and maintaining learning data efficacy for the association's membership. This role requires a strategic thinker with a thorough understanding of the insurance industry, including regulatory requirements, best practices, and emerging trends. The successful candidate will collaborate with industry stakeholders, educational institutions, and professional organizations to deliver high-quality training and development opportunities tailored to the needs of insurers in Tennessee. This is not a teaching position.Key Responsibilities:Manage the administration and delivery of education programs to include webinars, in-person classes, and hybrid classes, including event planning, speaker coordination, class logistics, and content assistance.Manage instructor and course selection, correspondence and contracts.Oversee class logistics to include ordering food, setting up space, overseeing the technology needs, providing assistance to the course instructor where needed.Oversee education program, develop a robust annual schedule with the goal of increasing the number of in-person and virtual training offerings and expanding topic areas.Track event metrics (attendance, engagement levels, and post-event feedback) to evaluate success, identify areas for improvement.Foster relationships with local colleges, universities, and professional associations to promote educational initiatives.Lead outreach, communication and promotion efforts to ensure participation in educational programs.Oversee the budget and resources allocated for educational programs.Must be willing to obtain insurance license and/or designations within the insurance industry.Some overnight travel is required to attend conventions and other events.Experience:Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills required. Word processing and spreadsheet skills in MS Office environment essential. Professional demeanor and attention to detail necessary including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with using databases for tracking and reporting, web-meeting services and learning management systems technologies a plus.Experience - 2-5 years of insurance industry experience preferred, 2-5 years delivering corporate professional development training programs required. Previous association management experience, eLearning development and execution, previous meeting management experience and familiarity with nonprofit boards of directors a plus.Education - Bachelor's Degree preferred.Must live within commuting distance of Nashville.
