Contract IT Project Manager - SAP HCM Global Payroll Location: Cleveland, OH (Onsite 2x per week or 1-2 weeks per month) Exceptional Candidates out of the area should be able to travel up to 50% Duration: 24 MonthsWe are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee SAP HCM Global Payroll and Job Family Architecture initiatives. This role requires expertise in SAP Global Payroll operations, compliance, and process optimization, along with strong data governance, job architecture, and change management skills. The ideal candidate will excel in project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Lead SAP HCM Global Payroll and Job Family Architecture initiatives from planning to execution.Define project scope, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs.Oversee SAP Global Payroll configuration, compliance, automation, and integrations with third-party systems.Ensure accurate payroll processing across multiple regions while maintaining data integrity and adherence to regulatory standards.Develop and implement job frameworks, classifications, and career path structures to enhance workforce planning.Collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance teams to streamline data governance and job architecture practices.Drive change management strategies to promote adoption and ensure process efficiency.Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners, ensuring project milestones, compliance, and quality assurance.Required Qualifications:7+ years of experience in SAP HCM Global Payroll and project management.Expertise in multi-country payroll operations, compliance, and localization.Strong knowledge of payroll schemas, tax rules, wage type configuration, and integrations with external systems.Experience in HR data governance, job architecture, and workforce analytics.Proficiency in troubleshooting payroll discrepancies and ensuring payroll data integrity.Familiarity with global payroll regulations (GDPR, SOC, labor laws, tax systems).PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP HCM certification is a plus.This is a contract role (24 months) requiring onsite presence in Cleveland, OH, twice a week.
