We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to join our enterprise organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex IT programs from inception to completion, ensuring they align with business goals, adhere to established methodologies, and manage financial aspects effectively. This role requires a deep understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, along with the strategic oversight of capital (Capex) and operational (Opex) expenditures.Key Responsibilities:Program Management:Lead, plan, and execute multiple IT programs, ensuring they meet strategic business objectives.Coordinate with various departments to ensure program coherence across the organization.Manage program scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality, ensuring all goals are met.Methodology Application:Implement and manage both Agile and Waterfall methodologies depending on project needs.Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for Agile projects.Manage phase gates, documentation, and dependencies for Waterfall projects.Financial Oversight:Develop and manage the program budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on Capex and Opex.Ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI of IT investments by managing financial resources judiciously.Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting performance against budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Stakeholder Engagement:Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and executive leadership.Communicate program status, risks, and changes effectively.Risk Management:Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT programs.Develop and maintain risk registers and implement risk response strategies.Team Leadership:Lead, motivate, and develop a team of project managers, business analysts, and technical staff.Foster a collaborative team environment while pushing for high performance and accountability.Compliance and Governance:Ensure programs comply with organizational standards, policies, regulatory requirements, and IT governance frameworks.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or PMP certification preferred.Minimum of 7 years experience in IT project or program management within a large, complex enterprise environment.Proven track record managing large-scale IT programs using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Strong financial acumen with experience managing significant budgets (Capex and Opex).Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist) and traditional project management (PMP, PRINCE2) highly desirable.
