About the Role:The Business Development Associate seeks new business opportunities by developing relationships with potential customers among blue-chip companies in the US. You will be part of a dynamic, supportive team that drives new business growth, working with all company levels while supporting marketing campaigns and outbound communication projects.The role will focus on various industries across Financial Services, Insurance, and Healthcare (Health Insurers and Hospital Systems). You will be prospecting new clients and calling them, using your expertise to help people understand the value CI brings to their business.About Us:Corporate Insight (CI) is a market research and consulting firm that has been partnering with digital teams across financial services, healthcare and insurance industries for over 30 years. We are seeking talented additions to our business development team to join us to continue our growth.Responsibilities:The Business Development Associate supports their team in a variety of ways, primarily through proactive prospecting activities and outbound communication. The successful candidates must be organized and able to manage multiple projects. Specific responsibilities include the following: Researching and identifying prospect companies Developing and executing strategies for outbound prospecting via email, phone call, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.Speaking with provided and self-sourced prospects to discuss needs and how CI would benefit themUtilizing good discovery tactics and questions in a consultative sales styleEstablishing a complete understanding of CI's research methodology and benchmarking services.Ensuring that once meetings are booked, relevant research and information are translated to the Account Executive so that they are set up for success in their meetingsFollowing up on marketing qualified leadsMeeting weekly and monthly qualified call, meeting and opportunity goals to ensure company revenue objectives are metWorking closely with the Marketing team on lead generation and new business activities, including email campaigns and conference appearancesExperience & Skills:We seek bright, outgoing, intellectually curious people who enjoy a challenge and will work hard to help our Sales team succeed. The ideal candidate has the following mix of experience, skills and personal attributes: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role of a similar capacity, including internships.
