Position OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced and driven Salesperson for our Generator Division. This is a technical sales role requiring proficiency in the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, developing customer relationships, and ensuring seamless project execution. This role includes managing rental and service contracts, conducting job estimates, and tracking projects through completion to guarantee customer satisfaction. The position requires a balance of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and customer service skills.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial and residential markets.Conduct job site walk-throughs to assess customer needs and propose tailored generator solutions.Generate detailed quotations and job estimates for generator product lines.Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.Obtain rental and service contracts as part of overall sales efforts.Track projects from sale through completion to ensure customer satisfaction.Maintain a bi-weekly call list of contacts for sales of generators and Preventive Maintenance Contracts (PM).Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate and effective solutions are provided.Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.Assist in other departments of Andrus Power Solutions as needed.RequirementsProven experience in technical sales, preferably within the generator or power solutions industry.Strong understanding of generator products and associated controls is highly desirable but not required.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for field visits.Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.Professional demeanor that reflects positively on the company and team members.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive Base Salary ($40,000+) + CommissionInitial draw of $40,000 per year, based on $400,000 in sales at 10% margin.3% commission on net profit after meeting base salary requirement (paid quarterly).Paid Time Off (Vacation/Sick Time).Paid Holidays.Ongoing Training and Career Development Opportunities.Positive and Supportive Work Environment.Bonus Opportunities.About UsAndrus Power Solutions Inc. is a leading distributor of multiple generator products and a full-service center serving Massachusetts for over 30 years.
