For the BDM roles, our client are looking for those with experience selling electrical construction specifically in the commercial space. They will not consider those from residential or small builds. They really want someone who has worked with a General Contractors that have relationships already in place in order to close deals. They would like them to have not only the relationships and selling background but also a background in the field (Estimating or Project Management would be their wish list). This on-site position with requirements to be in office when not traveling. Requires 15-30% travel. The locations where the BDMs are needed include: Charlotte, NCGrapevine, TXDallas, TXPhoenix, AZHillsboro, ORTempe, AZSan Jose, CAThe Business Development Manager will oversee client relationships, manage the sales pipeline, and secure contracts for an industry-leading, employee-owned electrical contractor. This role involves researching potential customers, preparing business development action plans, supervising marketing materials, and assisting business development associates in crafting compelling proposals. You will act as the primary liaison to clients, ensuring all needs are met from initial contact through project completion. Additionally, this position requires budgeting assistance, pre-construction coordination, CRM maintenance, and frequent travel to client sites.
