Full-Stack Developer with Strong AI/ML Experience

The RoleWe're seeking a passionate, full-stack developer with a strong background in AI/ML to join our fast-paced startup. In this lean, flat organization, youll be expected to take ownership of the full software development lifecycle"”from architecting solutions based on business priorities to coding, testing, and deploying robust features. As there wont be a senior team lead overseeing every aspect, you must be highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to deliver projects on time.What You'll DoDevelop and Integrate AI Features:Build, test, and deploy AI-powered tools (e.g., natural language processing for data summarization, risk stratification, automated message triaging, and clinical decision support).Integrate machine learning models with our current tech stack (Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, Supabase) and internal EMR systems to provide real-time, actionable insights.Full-Stack Application Development:Design and maintain robust web applications that support both AI-driven and traditional functionalities.Architect and build scalable APIs and microservices to ensure seamless communication between AI modules and core systems.Collaborate and Innovate:Partner closely with the Cofounder/CEO and the founding engineering team to understand business priorities and translate them into effective engineering solutions.Participate in agile processes including planning sessions, daily standups, and sprint reviews to ensure continuous improvement and delivery of high-quality, production-ready code.Ensure Quality and Compliance:Develop and enforce best practices in data privacy, security, and healthcare compliance.Work with clinical teams to validate AI outputs against medical guidelines and industry standards.What We're Looking ForFull-Stack Expertise:Proficient in Next.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Supabase.Strong understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-based deployments.AI/ML Proficiency:Experience building and deploying AI/ML models in a production environment.Familiarity with NLP techniques, data extraction, and risk assessment algorithms.Ability to integrate machine learning pipelines into web applications.Organizational and Architectural Skills:Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to understand and translate business priorities into scalable, robust engineering solutions.Proven experience with software architecture design, ensuring a solid foundation before diving into coding.Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, capable of working independently in a lean team environment.Startup Mindset:Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling complex challenges.Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.Bonus Points:Prior experience in telehealth or healthcare technology.Familiarity with clinical decision support systems and healthcare regulatory requirements.Join UsIf you're excited to blend full-stack development with cutting-edge AI/ML innovation and have a passion for transforming healthcare, we'd love to hear from you!
