Backend Engineer - Cloud Services (Mid Level)

This is a full-time on-site role located in San Juan Capistrano, CA, for a mid level Backend Engineer. The Backend Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing cloud services to evaluate, store, and distribute live analytic data. This includes developing and testing micro-services and making improvements to existing ones. The cloud specialized Backend Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, develop customized solutions, and implement innovative enhancements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and deploy APIs and micro-services in a .NET environmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate containerized applicationsWrite reusable, modular code that adhere to SOLID principlesManage cloud infrastructure and build pipelinesOptimize database queries for scalable deploymentsQualificationsBachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or related disciplineStrong programming skills in C#, .NET framework, and SQLExperience with Kafka and Kubernetes in distributed cloud infrastructureDeep understanding of Object Oriented Design principlesProduction experience with real time compliant systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
