Hardware Technician - Electrical wiring, Electronics - Automotive relatedRelevant Experience L2 @ 4 to 8 years of experienceL3 @ 8+ years of experienceExperience Required: • 2+ years of technician experience.• Automotive experience.• Basic knowledge of Electronics - understanding of what/how/why.• Entry level wire harness knowledge - Crimping, connector types, gauge, etc.• Exposure to Linux/Shell environments.• Someone that can learn quickly and expand in their knowledge.Pluses:• Automotive Trade school, equivalent training and/or experience.• Automotive and/or electronics diagnostics experience.• Basic Fabrication Skills - Cutting metal/wood, using power tools to make simple parts.• Familiar with electronic design, oscilloscope usage, DMM measurements.Roles & Responsibilities HW TechnicianFlexible and self-motivated technician to support Hardware Engineering. Scope:• Collaborate on & assemble test platforms - Create the "Stuff" that enables HW to be utilized in a lab. Including but not limited to - Fixturing, wiring, cooling.• Design/assemble wire harnesses.• Capture, escalate, & diagnose HW & SW issues encountered when commissioning & maintaining test platforms.Education : High School/Diploma/Technical training/DegreeSalary Range: $74,000-$115,000 a year
