Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury & Medical MalpracticeLocation: Denver, CO (on-site)Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $70,000 - $90,000AimHire is excited to partner with a reputable Denver-based law firm specializing in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. The firm is known for its client-centered approach and dedicated team, providing high-quality legal representation to those affected by personal injury. We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support their attorneys in all phases of litigation. If youre looking for a fast-paced, rewarding role, this may be the perfect fit!Key Responsibilities:Case Management: Maintain client files, track critical case deadlines, and manage attorney schedules.Document Preparation: Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, medical chronologies, and case summaries.Discovery & Trial Support: Assist with drafting and responding to discovery, coordinating depositions, and preparing trial materials, including exhibits and witness lists.Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact, providing case updates, securing medical records, and answering client inquiries.Medical Record Analysis: Request, review, and summarize medical records related to personal injury and medical malpractice cases, as well as prepare privilege logs and redactions.Court Filings: Handle the preparation and filing of legal documents in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with local court rules.Settlement Support: Draft settlement demands, assist in calculating damages, and coordinate lien resolution efforts.Qualifications:Minimum of 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with a strong preference for experience in personal injury or medical malpractice. Proven track record of successfully supporting attorneys through complex litigation, including trial preparation and settlement negotiations.Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program or an associate or bachelor's degree in legal studies or related field. Additional certifications in litigation support or medical record analysis are a plus.Advanced knowledge of case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar) and document management systems.Proficient in e-discovery platforms and legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF editing tools (Adobe Acrobat). Medical Record Expertise: Ability to quickly and accurately interpret and summarize medical records and bills, prepare detailed chronologies, and identify critical medical issues related to personal injury or medical malpractice claims.Familiarity with both state and federal court filing systems, including experience with electronic court filings (e.g., CM/ECF) and ensuring compliance with local court rules.AimHire is an equal opportunity employer.
