Quality Assurance Specialist

We offer competitive wages and benefits including comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, matching 401(k), paid time off and more.As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for in-process and finished product inspections primarily but not exclusively to the products shipping stage to ensure product quality is being maintained and to help ensure customers receive the correct products for their orders.Job ***** Develop, implement, and oversee quality audit frequency to ensure proper appearance andfunctionality of our product.Develop, implement, and oversee quality testing parameters for our product.Develop, implement, and oversee a system of tracking internal defects to report to supervisionand management.Conduct random audits on all manufacturing processes throughout the shift.Conduct audits of all products staged for packaging operations.Perform root cause analysis and reporting on non-conforming products.Segregate nonconforming material utilizing hold tags and notify supervision.Stop any process where nonconforming material is being produced and notify supervision.Work with the operations team to develop and implement changes that will have a positive impact on product quality.Maintains records related to all aspects of quality operationsMust comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policiesManagement retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time**Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years' experience or five years' experience in arelated quality position.Background must include manufacturing processes in a production environment.Knowledge of quality audits, quality control and quality inspections.Knowledge of inspection methodology and techniques.Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and be able to work independently.Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as neededPhysical **Ability to lift light to medium weight up to 75 lbs.May stand for prolonged periods of timeMay stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulationsGrow your career supported by an energized and passionate team, professional development, training, flexibility and opportunities for advancement.
