This role will focus on understanding the needs of prospective clients, initiating meaningful relationships, and laying the groundwork for long-term relationships.If youre looking to join a company that valueshard work, teamwork, and exceptional service, we'd love to hear from you!Apply today and become part of a company that cares!Duties/Responsibilities:Actively follow up on leads to ensure timely engagement.Conduct initial conversations to assess customer needs, challenges, and goals.Educate potential customers about the company's products and services, emphasizing their value and benefits.Qualify leads and ensure a smooth handoff to the appropriate sales representative.Visit customers and attend tradeshows and customer expos.Establish and maintain new customer accounts, ensuring accurate and detailed information in the CRM system.Establish customer forecast for purchasing department including quantity and timeframe information.Build trust and rapport with prospective customers to establish strong relationships.Collaborate with the sales team to align strategies and share insights about potential customers.Demonstrates the values of W.E.H. Supply in all activities.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Interpersonal and customer service skills are key.Organized and detail-oriented, with proficiency in CRM tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated and driven to meet or exceed lead conversion goals.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Familiarity with sales processes and techniques is a plus.Ability to travel up to 20%; overnight stays at times (additional pay provided).Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent.At least 3 years' sales experience required; 7+ years preferred.Industry knowledge a plus; preferably in sheds & post frame buildingExperience managing the sales of customer accounts is required.Physical Requirements and Environment:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Ability to lift and carry 20lbs.Ability to communicate via phone and email.
