Reliability Engineer

Job ***** Functions as a Subject Matter Expert on Asset Reliability.Analyzing equipment performance, failure data, and corrective maintenance history to develop and deploy engineering solutions, improved maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance optimization, and other reliability techniquesProviding training and coaching in Root Cause and Reliability Analysis and taking ownership for ongoing corrective action tracking, implementation, and follow up to ensure that all Root Cause analysis projects are documentedManaging the work order documentation in the CMMS to support a robust reliability and failure analysis effort (including monitoring closed work orders and providing training/coaching to the team)Partnering with appropriate suppliers and customer technical resources to document best practices in the creation of robust PM, PdM, CdM and OPM tasksEngaging customer technical resources, supply chain personnel, and key suppliers to develop and document robust spare parts lists, while striving to achieve best life cycle cost of ownershipProviding leadership in conducting or arranging for the training of maintenance tasks, techniques, technologies, and concepts for maintenance technicians and support staffKey ***** Coordinate Predictive Maintenance ActivitiesLead Maintenance Root Cause activitiesWork with Planner on planned work to improve Asset CareWork with cross functional teams to improve design of equipment to improve Asset CareHelp identify and coordinate part obsolesce replacementHelp identify and coordinate standardization projectsRequired **Bachelors degree in Reliability, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years related experienceExpert knowledge of reliability principlesStrong problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills - both written and verbalGood knowledge of Maintenance process and activities.Preferred **Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRTPrevious project management experienceLevel 1 Certification in IR Thermography, Ultrasound and/or Vibration
