Dabico - Airport Services SolutionsDabico brings innovative solutions to the aviation industry that safeguards people and protects the environment, while increasing productivity.The Electrical Engineering Manager for Dabico will provide electrical engineering design expertise and management to the Engineering Team for delivery of both product and project related engineering solutions.Responsibilities *****Conception and development of new designs. Engineering design functions, team management, and research of existing solutions; as well as Standards documentation using robust Engineering Design 1st Principles.Manage the process for filling gaps and collaborate with the wider engineering team for solutions, including publishing standards and templates to the EPDM database.Achieve expected quality standards and delivery times of product in accordance with contractual obligations and to Cavotec standards.Prepare, review and maintain product documentation, including manuals and bills of materials as required.Manage written specifications for equipment design including proprietary purchased components.Manage product monitoring, test and troubleshooting.Responsible for the on-time delivery of designs.Research & Development of new and existing products and other new products.Contribute to the discovery and collection of information for new and innovative materials, processes and functionality.Required SkillsKnowledge of power supply systems, PCB design basicsAbility to design and interpret electrical schematics.Knowledge of transformers and frequency converters preferred.Project managementEPDM, SolidWorks, CADAnalytical and problem solving skillsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required5+ years' manufacturing experience7+ years' electrical design experienceEffective English communication skills (written and oral) Bi-lingual Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
