Project Engineer

Seeking a talented Project/Manufacturing Engineer with welding experience to develop welding techniques, procedures, and equipment applications for metal fabrication with a leading manufacturer known for more than 50 years of excellence, growth, and an outstanding culture.Responsibilities **Provide process support and troubleshooting. Investigate and document welding defects to determine the appropriate cause and potential corrective measures.Develop welding procedures that effectively utilize new welding technology.Design welding projects and communicate specific equipment and component requirements. Troubleshoot welding problems and provide guidance for product material selection.Enhance production capabilities, optimize welding processes, and drive weld improvements.Evaluate workflow and production processes and make recommendations for improvement. Create and update manufacturing work instructions, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred or equivalent experience. CWI strongly preferred.Welding experience with sheet metal, weldments, and large assemblies and use of computer-aided design (CAD) software to create drawings for welding projects a must.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and familiarity with ISO 9000.
