Electrical Control Engineer

Electrical & Controls Engineer/TechnicianIn-plant controls technician role is responsible for supporting electrical and controls engineering. Work within a brand-new plant in the Lebanon area with a company history of success spanning over 100 years! ResponsibilitiesReviewing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting control programs.Assisting engineering team with automation system troubleshooting, supporting new equipment installations, and providing start-up assistance.Managing all technical automation software.Reading and modifying electrical schematics.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Additional relevant training or certifications (preferred).Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Rockwell/Schneider automation systems.Strong computer and networking skills.Knowledge of power distribution systems in a manufacturing environment.Understanding of both line-side and control-side schematics.Proficiency in reading and modifying electrical schematics.Strong technical skills (mechanical/electrical).Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.Willingness to travel to vendor sites and other company facilities as needed.** Experience with AutoCAD.Experience with Rockwell and Schneider automation products.Familiarity with networking hardware.PLC, HMI, and VFD programming experience (a plus).Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Familiarity with Rockwell Automation programming software.$85,000 - $95,000 per yearExtremely competitive benefits package!Type of ** Direct Hire About Express Employment ****Express can help you find the type of job that is a perfect fit for your needs and abilities, and you will never pay a fee for our services and support.
