NMT's expertise in the design and development of endoscopic devices, combined with Isometric's market leading micro-molding capabilities, are revolutionizing drug delivery and medical devices including minimally invasive surgical instruments and surgical robotics. Together, we aim to meet the evolving needs of medical devices, enhance component miniaturization, and improve the maneuverability of small and precision components, ultimately contributing to improved device functionality.Its an exciting time to join our team, and were hiring for a Quality Engineering Technician. This position is responsible for supporting the activities of the Quality department to ensure compliance to all customer and regulatory requirements through the Quality Management System (QMS). This role will assist in the improvement and maintenance of the QMS while supporting ISO13485 standards. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Coordinate CAPA activities within QMS proceduresPerform calibration system administrationTrain others to established proceduresPerform First Article inspectionsPerform Gage R&R studiesAssist in the development and writing of proceduresRecommend adjustments to the assembly or production processInspect, test, or measure materials or products being producedMeasure products with CT scanner, calipers, gauges, micrometers, vision systems, or other measurement equipmentDiscuss inspection results with those responsible for productsAssist in the improvement and maintenance of the Quality Management SystemDraft new procedures and revise existing one to conform to what is required by processSupports Isometric ISO13485 continuous improvement initiativesOther duties as assignedEducation and/or Experience:Associates degree in related technical field, or 2+ years of relevant experience requiredUnderstand print and specification reading processes with GD&T conceptsAbility to inspect a variety of equipment & methods experienceMedical molding and validation experience preferredIndependent initiative requiredAbility to work in a procedure-based system and follow guidelinesDetail and Quality orientedKnowledge of clean room practices preferredSolid understanding of ISO13485 or ISO9001 continuous improvementIsometric offers a comprehensive benefit package along with competitive pay:401(k) program with Company match available after 90 days3 weeks of paid time off, 2 personal days, and 11 paid holidays (10 observed holidays + 1 floating holiday of your choice)Medical, Dental, and Vision options available the 1st of the month followed by 30 days.
