No Corp to Corp (C2C)Position **Seeking an experienced Automation Engineer / Controls Engineer to lead electrical design projects, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and project execution skills.Key *Design and document control systems, including PLC, HMI, instrumentation, motor control, VFDs, safety circuits, and robotics.Develop specifications, cost estimates, and project documentation.Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality and compliance.Mentor junior team members and support professional growth.Utilize AutoCAD and other design tools.Research and implement new technologies.Manage client interactions, approvals, and permitting processes.Perform on-site inspections and collaborate with contractors and suppliers.*A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering is preferred but not required.PE status with the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers is preferred but not required.5+ years of electrical design experience in PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, robotics, and VFDs.Proficiency in development software such as Rockwell, Siemens, Fanuc, ABB, and Copa-Data.Experience with the pharmaceutical industry and/or power generation is preferred but not required.Knowledge of U.S. electrical and ANSI standards; ISO 9001 experience preferred.Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.Working **International travel required (up to 30%).Ability to attend and conduct presentations.Overtime and weekend work as needed.Exposure to client worksites.
