CRD System Design Engineer Lead

Role is 18-month contractJob **The Senior Engineer will work in a global, cross-business team responsible for the client's Nuclear "Advanced Applications Nuclear Systems Engineering" function. They will provide technical guidance, resources and training needed to ensure high quality deliverables in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures and regulatory agency guidelines. This position will coordinate the efforts of the CRD System Design Team. Responsible *Provide technical guidance, resources and training needed to ensure high quality deliverables in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures and regulatory agency guidelines.The delivery of cohesive, high quality technical solutions to customers of the Natrium demonstration plan in an on-time manner.The support of business growth initiatives, including new product and services introductions, and the development of innovative technical solutions for new plants by staying current in industry trends and partnering with stakeholders leveraging industry relationships.Minimum ****Bachelors degree in mechanical or nuclear engineering or related degree/experience.Minimum of 8 years of experience in an engineering and/or technical environment. Minimum of 3 years of experience with nuclear reactor technology systems.Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a B2B client facing roleMinimum of 3 years of experience working with Control Rod Drive (CRD) system design Hands On Technical experience and working knowledge in design, plant systems, and/or technical analysis with advanced high-temperature sodium fast and molten salt reactor technologies for research and power reactors, high-temperature gas reactors and HALEU or high-enriched research and test reactor fuel. Nuclear Plant Operations experience (Engineering, Reactor Engineering, Control Room Operators, Senior Control Room Operators)Proven ability to create real and positive change, think creatively and respond rapidly to changing priorities and customer needs.Extensive technical knowledge of at least one of the technical fields within the organization.Open communication style and proven ability to develop team relationships, including global teams.Demonstrated business knowledge with cross-functional awareness.Demonstrated project management skills, including cost and schedule control.$50/hr to $80/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
