This position will be a blend of providing paralegal and legal operational support to a team of in-house attorneys. The individual in this role will provide support on a variety of functions within the legal team including reviewing contracts, tracking corporate ï¬ling responsibilities, updating organizational materials, implementing software systems, tracking external legal invoicing, and managing the documentation ï¬ling system for the legal team.Primary ResponsibilitiesOverhaul current document storage and ï¬ling system to create a cohesive and coherent document management systemPrimarily responsible for DocuSign requests and storage of executed agreementsPreliminarily review non-disclosure, non-reliance and commercial agreements, as appropriate.Supplement and update contract guide and term repositoryManage or assist with corporate formations, dissolutions, and management of organizational documentsSupport compliance function with reporting obligations and municipal, state, and federal ï¬ling obligations, including developing and monitoring a reporting and compliance calendarSupport management of intellectual property assetsAssist in responding to compliance and regulatory requestsPrepare correspondence and proofread materials for the legal teamDraft, review, and collaborate with the legal team on board and committee meeting minutesPrimary notetaker during legal team meetingsAssist in the maintenance of the legal team's forms, recordkeeping, and knowledge managementProcess legal team invoices and assist with legal team budget managementImplement Ironclad contract management system and additional software solutions for the legal teamManage highly conï¬dential and sensitive information with the utmost discretionLegal and regulatory researchAssist on other projects and workflowsPlease note this position description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the associate in this position.
