Company OverviewSI Professional Search is conducting a search for a valued client that is a fast growth, multistate roofing company headquartered in the Dallas Fort Worth area and has grown to over 25 locations. They service residential, commercial, and home builders. Job Summary: Sales TrainerOur client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Trainer to join their team. The Sales Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that enhance the skills and performance of the sales team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales training, expertise in using technology to train, experience in the roofing or construction industry. The sales trainer will run the company's Boot Camp for new hires that teaches the fundamentals of the roofing industry, company process and pricing, and negotiation. Training is focused highly on role playing to instill confidence in the new hires. Follow-on training focuses on using the training platform to further enhance professional development and address sales issues from the field.Key Responsibilities:Training Program Development: Evaluate, adjust and improve initial training for new hires - "Boot Camp." Boot Camp runs every other week with 8-15 new hires.Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching for sales representatives both in-person and virtually. Develop a training library that includes video best practices. Incorporate a Role Play scenario for new hires.Assessment & Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; identify areas for improvement and adjust training strategies accordingly.Collaboration: Work closely with sales managers to identify training needs and develop tailored training solutions that align with business goals and objectives.Content Creation: Create comprehensive training materials, including presentations, manuals, online resources, and e-learning modules, ensuring all content is up-to-date and relevant.Industry Knowledge: Stay current with Roofing industry trends, sales techniques, and product knowledge, incorporating relevant content into training programs.Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support and mentoring to sales team members, offering guidance, motivation, and assistance to help them achieve their sales targets.Reporting: Monitor and report on the progress and success of training initiatives, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.Qualifications:Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced certifications in sales training or adult education are a plus.Experience: Proven experience as a Sales Trainer in roofing or similar industry.Door to door sales is the front-line sales force coming through Boot Camp. Must be confident and familiar to teach this initial step of residential selling.Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.Motivational Skills: Ability to motivate and inspire others, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using training tools and software, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), CRM platforms, and presentation software.Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.Location: Haltom City, TX some flexibility to work from home but Boot Camp training occurs either in Haltom City or TBD location for instances when there is a hiring surge.Benefits:Compensation: salary 80-90k with a 25k bonus.Health & Wellness: Health, dental, and vision insurance to support your well-being.Retirement Plans: 401(k) retirement plan with company match to help you plan for the future.Time Off: Paid time off and holidays to ensure a healthy work-life balance.Keys to Success: The pace of hiring new hires is fast and the sales trainer will play an important role in introducing and training new hires during Boot Camp.
