Akkodis is seeking an OSP (Outside Processing) Buyer for a contractual role with a large Aerospace client in the Marysville, WA or Bothell, WA area.Rate Range: $37/hour - $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.As an OSP Buyer you will be responsible for identifying and selecting suppliers, completing requests for quotes, issuing, and expediting orders, closing out purchase orders, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, respond to inquiries regarding OSP status and attend meetings as required to report on OSP programs and address any related questions.OSP Buyer Essential Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:Identify and select primary and secondary suppliers.Complete requests for quotes and negotiate procurement contracts.Issue purchase orders and expedite orders.Verify the purchase orders and keep Purchase Order status up to date.Apply best practices to maintain guidelines regarding price, service, quality, and delivery.Process "Return to Vendor" reports and rework Non-Conformance reports.Initiate vendor chargeback and co-ordinate with various departments to process credit memos.Maintain standard cost of individual buy parts and outside services.Process invoice discrepancies.Other duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors Degree Preferred along with 2-3 Years Experience as a buyer/purchaserExperience working within a QMS system of ISO 9001 and API Q1Must be proficient with Microsoft Office & ERP Systems, especially proficient in the use of Excel.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Must be capable of managing multiple priorities and projects at the same time.Ability to drive issues to closure and get job done in professional and compliant manner.Must have a strong attention to detail & strong time management skills.Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders, including but not limited to logistics, planning, engineering, order management, and purchasing teams.Ability to meet or exceed standards as established by the department.We are open to working with professionals who are authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.No C2CEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
