Postgresql DBA

W2 Only Position :Postgres DBA/System AdminLocation :Nashville , TN(Remote)Duration : 6 Months + Job Description:Minimum of 10 years of strong and relevant experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator, specifically for large scale applications.Extensive experience with AWS RDS Postgres, including setup, configuration, and management.Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, configuration, and administration.Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience developing and reviewing complex PL/pgSQL functions, procedures, and other database objects.Extensive experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL programming.Familiarity with database security best practices.Experience with backup and recovery strategies.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility in working hours to support global teams and critical database operations.Must have experience in production system monitoring and incident management processes.Must provide after-hours on-call support.Experience in designing database schemas, access patterns, and locking strategies.Experience in conducting performance analysis and capacity planning.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Bamboo, Github, Jenkinks).
