IT Infrastructure EngineerNew York, NY 10166Hybrid RemoteTHE POSITION Responsible for assisting with the on-going growth, maintenance and support of company IT infrastructure. Assist senior engineers with projects, programs and activities to enhance company investment in technology. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities include but are not limited **Assist in managing and maintaining company on-premise and cloud infrastructureAs assigned, conduct administration and support activities associated with company IT infrastructure. This includes support requests, hardware & software procurement, installations, and maintenance tasksSupport both the Global IT Support Manager and the Infrastructure Manager across a range of responsible functionsWork with, compliment, and mentor the Support team globallyAs assigned plan, coordinate, and/or execute project activities within the company's extensive IT infrastructureAs guided prepare technical requirements for the administration and support of computer systems, networks, devices, and servicesAssist in developing and implementing effective programs and strategies to ensure all IT services are readily availableAs assigned assist with audit, IT policy and Information Systems Security Program (ISSP) implementation and adherence tasksKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND **STRONG Microsoft is required!Experience of managing workloads in Azure and the Microsoft 365 stackIn depth understanding of VMware virtualization, including troubleshooting and upgradesGood understanding of Microsoft server technologies such as Active Directory, SQL, DFS, etc.Good understanding of PowerShell to automate tasksExperience of VDI technologies such as AVD and Citrix DaaSGood understanding of Microsoft Office and other desktop productivity applicationsUnderstanding of data backup technologiesWe are an equal opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
