Quality Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Quality Engineer. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Bloomfield, CT (Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.May write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application.Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Skills-Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, and FMAAmini tab software and MS suites and AAIG Core tools and IATF knowledge.Bachelor degree in engineering required. 5-7 years' experience required.Responsibility level Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor.Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability (Required).Team player and detail oriented (Required).Basic leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required).Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports (Typically required).Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) (Typically required).Knowledge of auto PPAP.AAIG Core tools knowledge.IATF knowledge.Good communication skills.Our client is a leading Automotive Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
