As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be designing, developing and launching fun & exciting smart electronic products.The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer's Responsibilities Will **Designs consumer products from start to finish using CAD/Solid Modeling toolsDesigns products with Injection molded plastics, sheet metal and other similar manufacturing processesDesigns, models, and tests prototypes for new products and conceptsCompletes advanced surface design for new product developmentUtilizes top down modeling and design techniquesConducts research and creates design proposals for projectsCreates concepts, performance, and production criteriaProduces drawings and specificationsCreates initial BOM and track costsMentor of best practices, standards and processesWill perform additional responsibilities when requiredThe Senior Mechanical Design Engineer's Qualifications Will *BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or other relevant field7+ years experience in product design5+ years experience with injection molded plastics3+ years experience with electronics packaging3+ years experience with motor-driven mechanismsBackground in consumer plastics product designStrong CAD experience with PTC Creo or similar systemsProven ability to be creative, agile, and detail orientedHas been involved in at least one successful new product introductionIf you are a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer that ticks all the boxes, please respond with an updated resume.Please note that due to the nature of this position, we are only accepting US Citizens or Green Card holders currently.Relocation Assistance Provided!*
