Youll leverage your Java expertise to build and implement robust backend systems, contributing significantly to the companys next phase of growth.Role & Responsibilities:Backend Development: Design, development, and optimization of backend architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.Platform: A streamlined real estate and property management platform used by property investors, vendors, tenants, and operations teams.Tech Stack: Work with the latest Java, React, CSS, MySQL, and AWS technologiesCollaboration: Partner with a talented engineering team to design and implement features while maintaining high code quality and adherence to best practices.Problem Solving: Address complex technical challenges with a results-driven mindset, delivering innovative and effective solutions.API Development: Design, develop, and deploy server APIs, adhering to industry-leading best practices. Build Services & APIs by writing code that is clean, minimal, and easy to understandCross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate closely with other business units to understand requirements, communicate effectively, and build the necessary systems to support organizational goals.Skills / Experience Needed:4+ years of backend Java development experience.Strong experience with AWS services and infrastructure.Proficiency with tools such as Terraform, Docker, and GitHub.Front-end development experience using JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.Hands-on experience with GraphQL API development.Prior experience working with early-stage and high-growth startups (Seed to Series A or B)Strong understanding of software architecture and expertise in managing complex systems.Understanding of data structures and algorithms.Startup mentality - can solve big problems with a small teamYou love clear, concise, & readable code.
