You'll collaborate closely with leadership and production teams to contribute to our firm's continued success.We Offer:Professional development opportunities to expand your expertise.Career advancement paths to support your long-term goals.Continuous learning through mentorship and industry exposure.An innovative environment where ideas are valued and implemented.Work-life balance to ensure both personal and professional success.A team-oriented culture where collaboration and mutual support drive success.What You'll Do:Design and manage HVAC and plumbing projects, ensuring successful execution from concept to completion.Develop mechanical systems using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.Perform load calculations, ductwork and piping design, and equipment selection.Prepare and review project specifications, reports, and construction documents to ensure compliance with industry standards.Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet scheduled milestones.Ensure projects meet local, state, and federal codes and standards, including California Title 24 Energy Code.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and project team members.Maintain open communication with stakeholders and facilitate a collaborative work environment.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of HVAC and/or plumbing engineering experience in the MEP industry.EIT or PE certification (or equivalent industry experience).Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.Experience developing and reviewing project specifications and construction documents.Knowledge of ASHRAE, IMC, IPC, NFPA, and California Energy Codes (Title 24).Experience with federal and military projects (UFCs and UFGS) is a plus.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a challenging, flexible, and empowering work environment.Experience with California-specific HVAC load calculation and energy compliance software, including:Trane TRACE 3D Plus or Carrier HAP for load calculationsEnergyPro for Title 24 compliance for energy modeling and performance analysisIES-VE or equivalent for energy modeling and performance analysisBluebeam Revu for markups and document coordinationBenefits:401(k) + 401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time off & sick leavePerformance-based bonusesIf you're passionate about both leading projects and contributing technically in a positive and engaging workplace, we'd love to hear from you!Compensation commensurate with experience.This position is not open to inquiries or applications from commission-based placement services or recruiters.
