Contract Landman

Norwood Land Services is seeking a Landman with Title, Curative & Leasing experience. Applicants must have 3 years verifiable experience. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and detail oriented while working in a competitive and fast-paced environment.Primary Duties and Responsibilities· Building runsheets· Ability to examine and interpret complicated Mineral and Leasehold Title· Create formatted ownership reports showing MI/WI/NRI (formulas and calculations)· Identify title defects· Negotiate OGL Leases with sophisticated mineral owners· Full understanding of modern lease language (lease analyst)· Some travel will be requiredJob Qualifications· ***** Bachelor's degree (preferably in Energy Management, Land Management or Energy Commerce, but not required)· 3 Years Experience - Permian and/or Delaware Basin preferred· AAPL Membership· Title must be in a 50-mile radius of Tyler, TXSkills· Ability to utilize and navigate all relevant online resources· Excellent written and verbal communication· Proficiency in Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat· Management of personnel resources· Meet deadlines and fulfill obligationsCompensation· Competitive day rate based on experience and work product**· ** 3 years (Preferred)**· Bachelors (Preferred)· Title in 50 mile radius of Tyler, TXRequired ***· 50% (Preferred)
