Pave Talent is partnering with an established specialty chemicals company to find a seasoned Controls Specialist for their industrial automation team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in both electrical system design and PLC programming, with a proven track record of implementing complex automation solutions.About Our Client🢠Our client is a NYSE-listed specialty chemicals company with a 50-year legacy in environmental solutions. Their Rock Hill, SC facility specializes in designing and manufacturing industrial wastewater treatment systems. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with a tight-knit team of about 35 professionals in a collaborative, hands-on environment.Core Technical Requirements⚡Design and implement complete electrical control systems, including motor and pump sizingDevelop sophisticated PLC programs using Allen Bradley platforms (RSLogix 500/5000, Studio 5000)Create detailed electrical diagrams and panel designs using AutoCADProgram and configure operator interfaces using FactoryTalk and Panel ViewImplement analog control systems (4-20mA circuits) and digital I/ODesign VFD systems and flow control solutionsWork directly with manufacturing team during equipment build phaseProvide technical support to field service teamRequired Experience & Qualifications📋Minimum 5 years of hands-on industrial control systems design and PLC programmingProven experience beyond maintenance-level programmingExtensive knowledge of Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation platformsDeep understanding of industrial electrical systems and componentsManufacturing environment experienceAssociates degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or equivalent experience (Bachelors preferred)Military background with equivalent experience welcomedImportant Work Environment Details💫This is an on-site position at our Rock Hill, SC facilityRegular collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams requiredOccasional travel (primarily US/Canada) for customer supportFlexibility to handle both scheduled projects and urgent support needsMust be comfortable working in a manufacturing environmentThe ideal candidate will have a stable work history and genuine interest in long-term growth with the company.
