This role is critical to ensuring the seamless operation of advanced building automation technologies that drive efficiency, performance, and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a stable and local work history and technical expertise in BACnet, DDC systems, and platforms such as ALC, Alerton, Tridium Niagara, and Distech.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, service, and diagnose building automation controls for commercial HVAC systems, ensuring peak performance and seamless integration.Work with BACnet and DDC systems to optimize system communication and functionality, ensuring reliable operation.Perform installations, diagnostics, and repairs on control systems, including ALC, Alerton, Tridium Niagara, and Distech.Partner with project teams to support the successful execution of building automation projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, ensuring consistent quality control and adherence to industry best practices.QualificationsAt least three years of experience in building automation controls service, focusing on HVAC systems in commercial buildings.Proficiency in BACnet, DDC controls, and platforms such as ALC, Alerton, Tridium Niagara, and Distech.Familiarity with MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit for project planning, system design, and documentation.Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve control system issues efficiently.A stable and local work history within the commercial mechanical construction industry is required.Preferred ExperienceExperience working with large-scale, advanced building automation systems in commercial or industrial environments.Demonstrated skills in control integration, custom programming, and system optimization to enhance building performance.Equal Employment OpportunityAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
