We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Industrial Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing tools, equipment, and jigs for connector manufacturing processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows, enhance product quality, and implement innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency.Key ***** Tool, Equipment, and Jig **Design, develop, and implement custom tools, jigs, and fixtures to streamline connector assembly processes.Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings.Ensure designs meet specifications, tolerances, and safety standards.Process *Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, precision, and ergonomics.Implement lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput.Prototyping and *Develop prototypes of tools and jigs for validation and testing.Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and refinement of designs based on real-world performance. Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to understand requirements and integrate feedback into designs.Provide technical support and training to operators on the proper use of tools and equipment.Documentation and **Create and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, operation manuals, and maintenance guidelines.Ensure all tools and equipment comply with industry regulations and company standards. * Minimum 3-5 years of experience in designing tools, jigs, and equipment for manufacturing processes, preferably in connector or electronics assembly in a A9100 environment.Technical **Proficiency in SolidWorks.Knowledge of project managementKnowledge of manufacturing techniques, including CNC machining, 3D printing, and sheet metal fabrication.Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Hands-On * Proven ability to work on the production floor, troubleshoot issues, and refine tools and equipment.Knowledge of Industry * Familiarity with AS9100, OSHA, and other relevant safety and quality standards.Soft * Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset.Preferred **Experience with automation and robotics integration in manufacturing is a must.Knowledge of materials science and durability testing.
