Senior Water Well Pump Technician

Sierra Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Pump Technician for a well established and growing Water Well Drilling and Pump company located in the Northern Nevada Area. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, daily communication with customers, and lead challenging projects across Nevada and California.This position is located in Reno, NV and provides for relocation assistance. Job **Installation and ** Install and remove submersible and vertical turbine pumps; understand system configuration, assembly sequence, and key features of the pump system. Utilize heavy equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic tools.Pump ***** Conduct pump and well performance tests requiring monitoring and evaluation of well discharge metering. Collect and document detailed performance data in handwritten or digital spreadsheets.Troubleshooting ***** Troubleshoot basic pump performance issues. Includes understanding pump mechanics, assembly/disassembly of components, electrical controls including use of a multimeter verify electrical supply power. Evaluate and determine next steps for repair or replacement and communicate with supervisor.Job ***** Licenses and ***** Commercial drivers license, class A is required (CDL A). Must possess a drivers license with a clean driving record.Experience and ***** Must have 2+ years of relevant experience in water well pump systems.Operational ***** Must have experience with machinery through work in construction, drilling, electrical, mechanical, or other contract projects.Ability to travel and work remotely up to 100% of the time.
