Transmission Line Engineer

Role **We are hiring a Transmission Line Engineer to lead the design and execution of transmission projects from planning to commissioning. This role focuses on routing, permitting, engineering, and construction oversight for new transmission infrastructure.Key *Route Selection & * Identify optimal transmission line routes, conduct environmental impact assessments, and support permitting.Design & * Develop transmission line designs (PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER), ensuring compliance with NESC, IEEE, and utility standards.Permitting & Regulatory * Work with agencies to secure permits, coordinate ROW acquisition, and ensure adherence to regulations.Construction & Project * Support material specification, contractor coordination, and field engineering to ensure successful project delivery.Grid Integration & Technical * Collaborate with system planning teams to integrate new transmission lines into the grid.**Bachelors degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering. 5+ years of experience in transmission line design, permitting, and construction for greenfield projects.Expertise in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-TOWER software.Strong understanding of environmental permitting, ROW acquisition, and land use regulations.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across teams.
