Project Engineer

ICS is looking to find a driven, smart, and team-player-minded individual with 2-5 years of experience with a heavy civil self-performing GC, with water/wastewater projects experience, for a Project Engineer role in Irvine. Job description and requirements are listed below:Project EngineerEngineering or Construction Management degree required.2 to 5 years of experience in construction projects of similar size and scope ($20 million water/wastewater projects). Experience in industrial/municipal projects (over $10 million) required. Experience in commercial-type construction will not be considered. OSHA 10 certification.Proficient in using the following software packages: Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Microsoft Project.Proficient in performing the following tasks: Field productivity and cost tracking, including comparison to budget.Field layout for upcoming work (support Foremen and Project Superintendent)QA/QC of work performed by field crews.Development of work packages, including sequence of work, materials and equipment needed, associated budgets, etc.Purchase materials/tools needed to perform the work.Assist Project Superintendent with office-related tasks.Subcontractors' management and scheduling.Assist PM with project schedule updates.Assist PM with project cost reporting.Develop project submittals (product data, quality control plans, field procedures, shop drawings, etc.) in accordance with project plans and specifications. Experience with the following software is preferred, but not required: Procore, Primavera P6, Viewpoint Vista.Exempt position (salary / no overtime). This person will be required to work 50+ hours per week
