This role involves designing process flows and specifying new equipment or plants for new processes or specialized materials.The equipment types vary and include, but are not limited to, conveyors, motors, presses, pumps, piping, dust collection systems, and packaging equipment. Project sizes vary, with approximately 50% being small, 30% medium-sized, and 20% large. The portfolio includes both renovation projects (80%) and new builds (20%).Candidates must have experience in full production line layout design for bulk material manufacturing. This role involves designing the manufacturing process from start to finish, ensuring all components integrate seamlessly into the production flow. In addition to hands-on design work, this role includes mentoring junior engineers.The role is based in Macon, Georgia, and is hybrid, with three days on-site and two days flexible. Travel is required approximately 20% of the time for site visits and client meetings.
