Excellent opportunity for growth, 401K and Profit Sharing Program.Job SummarySeeking an Equipment Design Engineer with advanced knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering, which is utilized to develop new HVACR equipment as produced by the company.Essential Job *****ResponsibilitiesEngineering calculations for psychrometrics, refrigeration, hydronics, and structures.Designing new HVACR equipment o Creating 3D models of entire units in SOLIDWORKS.Creating electrical and piping schematics in AutoCAD.Completing submittal packages for new equipment.Selecting components and completing cost analyses for new equipment.Reviewing performance balances for HVACR units including selecting compressors, pumps, and blowers rating heat exchangers, and cross plotting performances to complete unit balancing.Testing and troubleshooting new designs for electrical functionality, performance verification, and quality assurance.Interfacing with manufacturing department to provide engineering support through the build process.Writing programs for various control systems including PLCs and VFDs.Maintaining up to date records of all work completed and properly store on the public drive.Perform special projects as assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesExceptional problem-solving skills - high attention to detail - ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment - ability to work independently with remote support - excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering .SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD experience.2 + years manufacturing experience as a design engineer a must. (HVAC experience a plus)
