We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Relationship Manager to Independent Garden Centers. We are in the beautiful valley of Escondido, CA just 30 minutes from downtown San Diego and 40 minutes from Carlsbad, CA. Position Overview:The ideal Relationship Manager candidate will be a highly motivated and results-driven leader with a demonstrated record of building relationships and driving sales in the live good industry in particular with independent garden centers and nurseries. The successful candidate will have: Minimum of 3 years of experience in working with live goods in a sales or relationship management role.Exceptional communication, presentation, problem solving, and negotiating skills.Demonstrated ability to build confidence and trust with customers at all levels.Commitment to ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.Self-motivated, highly organized, and results oriented and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Establish strong and trusting relationships with existing customers to strengthen partnership and mutual success.Identify growth opportunities with our current customers by understanding their business, business models, goals, and the market trends that will influence success.Develop new business by generating and following up on targeted leads, and market opportunities.Analyze our business with our customers to build successful YOY programs and increase customer satisfaction.Communicate and work with various internal teams to leverage success.Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual goals driving revenue growth and contributing to the overall success of the company.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in sales with 3+ years working in live goodsBachelor's Degree required (10 years' experience in sales in lieu of a degree) Ability to take ownership of assigned customers and ensure customer satisfaction through regular check-ins.Ability to understand complex customer needs, create roadmaps, generate opportunities for upsell and present to clients.High degree of flexibility with the ability to work in a small, fast-paced environment.Thorough and detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management skills.Be a great collaborator and team player to reach and exceed goals.Be a great listener with the ability to construct win-win solutions in any environment.Willing to travel up to 50%.Benefits:Group medical & Dental plans offered401k offeredPaid Vacation & sick timeCasual work environmentCompensation:$85,000-100,000 annuallyPay Transparency Act*Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
