Mechanical Project Manager

As a Project Manager specializing in mechanical construction, you will oversee HVAC, piping, and plumbing installations for multifamily construction projects. This role involves working closely with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house teams to keep projects on track.Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure profitability while identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, resolve issues promptly, and ensure satisfaction.Team Leadership: Supervise and direct project teams, including foremen and subcontractors. Foster a positive, collaborative environment focused on achieving project goals.Quality Control & Safety: Ensure all mechanical systems and installations meet safety regulations and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.Problem Solving: Address and resolve any on-site challenges, such as delays, material shortages, or technical issues.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, change orders, and other relevant documents. Provide regular reports to senior management and clients.Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, including safety hazards, scheduling conflicts, and budget overruns.Qualifications:Experience: 3+ years of experience in mechanical construction, with at least 3 years in project management, particularly on multifamily HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects.Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems in construction. Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety regulations.Skills: Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
