Program Manager with Radio Frequency System Technologies Experience. Major firm in Columbia, MD is looking for a Program Manager with a technical aptitude in Radio Frequency System technologies to oversee the complete program life cycle of defense industry projects. The Program Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Radio Frequency System related defense programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience in program management and a solid understanding of Radio Frequency System technologies and their applications.Key Responsibilities:Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.Lead cross-functional teams to implement project plans, ensuring technical and operational requirements are met.Provide technical guidance on Radio Frequency Systems and ensure compliance with engineering standards.Monitor program performance against established metrics and KPIs.Identify and address issues or deviations from the project plan promptly.Continuously assess and mitigate risks throughout the program life cycle, focusing on technical and operational challenges related to Radio Frequency Systems.Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on program status, challenges, and milestones achieved.Conduct project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to identify best practices and areas for improvement.Ensure all contractual obligations are met and facilitate the transition of deliverables to the operational phase.Preferred Qualifications:Top Secret/SCI Clearance required.Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred5 years of experience in program or project management within the defense industry, specifically with Radio Frequency Systems.Technical knowledge of Radio Frequency System equipment, systems design, and performance evaluation.Proven track record of managing complex projects through all phases of the program life cycle.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and relevant technical software.PMP or equivalent certification preferred.The interview process will include an initial telephone or Zoom screening.
