Manufacturing Quality Manager

HTI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager or Quality Engineer with a start-up manufacturing facility in Waynesboro, GA (located just south of Augusta, GA). This is a full-time, direct-hire, onsite, salaried position. The company offers fantastic benefits and opportunities for growth. Salary will depend on experience and education, and the range is approximately $78,000 - $85,000 / year.**Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field) is preferred, but not requiredMust have 4+ years of recent experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor/Manager, or Senior Quality Technician in a manufacturing/production environmentMust be able to interpret technical drawings/blueprints, work instructions, plans, diagrams and product specificationsExperience with measuring tools and quality-related equipmentExperience with an ISO and/or UL certified company is strongly preferredStrong communication and training skillsPrevious training, certifications, and/or experience in quality related problem-solving techniques (SPC, PFMEA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, etc.)Six Sigma or ASQ certification is a plusLocal candidates preferredWill ensure that all finished products meet quality standards, in accordance with internal and customer requirements and specifications.
