Consultant (CO) and Sr Consultant (SC), Data & AI AdvisoryAs a Consultant / Sr Consultant in Paradigms Data & AI Advisory team, you will leverage your deep expertise in data and AI to design and implement strategic initiatives that drive sustainable business outcomes for our clients. This role combines advanced data strategy capabilities with a strong focus on AI governance, ensuring clients can responsibly harness the power of data and AI technologies.Key Responsibilities:Client EngagementLead and deliver data strategy and operating model projects, managing cross-functional teamsDevelop comprehensive data strategies, including vision, objectives, and key results (OKRs)Conduct data maturity assessments and capability evaluationsDesign Target Operating Models (TOMs) encompassing processes, roles, and governance structuresFormulate data policies, standards, and guidelinesDevelop strategic roadmaps and business cases for data initiativesFacilitate stakeholder interviews and workshops to identify pain points and align data capabilities (e.g., Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management)Evaluate and recommend improvements for existing data processes, tools, and governance frameworksAI GovernanceDevelop and implement AI governance frameworks and strategiesConduct AI risk assessments and ethical impact analysisDesign and oversee AI model validation and testing processesEstablish AI-specific policies, standards, and guidelinesImplement AI monitoring and auditing systems for continuous complianceAdvise on regulatory compliance related to AI technologies (e.g., EU AI Act)Capability DevelopmentManage and enhance Paradigms Data & AI Strategy & Advisory offeringsCultivate internal and external partnerships with clients and vendorsIdentify and pursue business development opportunitiesContribute to thought leadership initiatives by defining internal/external-facing content on data strategy, management, and AI governanceDevelop methodologies, accelerators, and tools to enhance delivery capabilities in both data strategy and AI governanceDesign and deliver training programs on data methodologies, including responsible AI practicesQualificationsRequiredMinimum 5 years of experience in Data Strategy, Management, Governance, or related fieldsProfound understanding of Data Strategy, Data Management, Data Analytics principles, as well as AI governance best practicesExpertise in one or more common Data Management methodologies (e.g., DAMA DMBOK, DCAM) and familiarity with AI model lifecycle management frameworksProven track record in conducting maturity assessments for both data capabilities and AI readinessExtensive experience in process documentation, target-state design, policy formulation, and roadmap development for both data management and AI governanceExperience leading delivery teams with a focus on fostering positive team environments under pressure or ambiguityStrong project scoping, management skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, stakeholder management expertise, and communication skills (written/verbal)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)PreferredMinimum 5 years of consulting experience at a top-tier consultancy or equivalent internal roleBackground in Financial Services, Consumer Products or Retail, with knowledge of industry challengesHands-on experience with data management tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra) as well as analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Familiarity with AI governance tools/platforms (e.g., Holistic AI)Certification(s) in data management methodologies or capability models; certifications in AI ethics/governance are a plusKey Skills:Data Strategy & ManagementMaturity assessment executionTarget Operating Model designPolicy creation for data managementAI GovernanceEthical framework developmentRisk assessment for AI systemsCore Consultant AttributesExceptional communication skills: Clear articulation, tailored messaging, insightful questioning, and persuasive presentationHigh emotional intelligence: Self-awareness, empathy, strong social skills, and adaptabilityDeep business acumen: Understanding of industry trends, organizational structures, financial principles, and strategic planningTechnical Knowledge AreasData Governance and Management: Informatica and CollibraAI/ML/Analytics Platforms: Snowflake and DatabricksHyperscalers: Azure, AWS, GCPConsulting ApproachQuickly grasp clients business context and challengesTranslating technical concepts into business valueDevelop and present strategic recommendationsFacilitate decision-making and drive consensusManage projects and deliver measurable resultsThis role offers an exciting opportunity to lead transformative initiatives at the intersection of advanced data strategies and responsible AI adoption.
