Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary:Our client is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer who will lead the creation of task breakdowns to meet project objectives and ensure seamless execution. This opportunity is located in Orlando, FL! Duties:Translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable project objectivesLead project planning efforts, including architectural design and attending team and product meetingsEnsure that tasks and tickets are completed on time and within scopeGuide and mentor other engineers in efficiently breaking down tasks and meeting deadlinesMaintain clear and consistent communication regarding project status with stakeholdersShare insights, challenges, and learnings from your work with the broader organization to foster knowledge-sharingLead troubleshooting efforts during on-call situations, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skillsCollect and articulate detailed forensic data to facilitate effective root cause analysis and resolutionMentor and teach other engineers on best practices for task breakdown, time management, and troubleshootingServe as a resource for engineers to improve processes, communication, and project executionDesired Skills/Experience: Bachelor degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experienceStrong technical experience with consumer- and employee-facing enterprise systemsProven ability to troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues efficientlyExpertise in designing, architecting, and maintaining highly scalable and highly available systemsExperience managing web, caching, and queuing technologies in large-scale, high-traffic environmentsProficiency in at least one public cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or similar)Hands-on experience with distributed version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelinesStrong background in managing both SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AtlantisHands-on expertise with AWS services (e.g., Fargate, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, ALB/ELB, ElastiCache, EKS, KMS Secret Manager, VPCs, IAM)Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Splunk, AppDynamics, Elastic Stack, Grafana)Benefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans401K offered $46.30 - $66.15 (est. hourly pay rate)
