North America headquarters are in New York City with other locations including Charlotte, NC.Compensation Expectation: $160-180kThe RoleLooking for a highly experienced Project Portfolio Manager to oversee complex software development projects within the financial industry.The successful candidate should have a strong background in Agile methodologies, experience in software development and project management, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.Experience as a Scrum Master is highly desirable.What Youll Do as a Project Portfolio ManagerBuild and execute roadmaps in Agile and a hybrid fashionMonitor portfolio roadmap progressMaintain strong communication with senior management and stakeholders.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project priorities and to ensure alignment with business goals.Drive the adoption of best practices in Agile project management and software development within the organization.Qualifications10+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.7 years or more of experience with Agile methodologies.Strong background in software development life cycle.Scrum Master experience is a plus.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong experience with JIRA or ServiceNow.Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Experience within financial and banking industry.This client requires that a background check be completed.
