Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Plan and manage design and construction projects for medium voltage (12kV - 69kV) electrical equipment.Oversee projects through all phases, including design, construction, and commissioning.Establish and maintain financial forecasts, including monthly reporting and variance analysis.Apply critical path scheduling techniques to ensure project milestones are met.Guide cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.Drive procurement activities, including material acquisitions and vendor coordination.Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley accounting & forecasting principles.Read and interpret electrical prints for project execution.Conduct field visits as necessary to oversee progress and resolve challenges.Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies for easements, zoning, and permitting.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Skills-Experience planning and managing design and construction projects for medium voltage (12kV - 69KV) equipment, Demonstrated understanding of Sarbanes Oxley accounting & forecasting principals and Procurement activities.Proven experience managing design and construction phases of projects, preferably from an owners perspective.Strong portfolio management experience, overseeing 15-30 projects simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, including financial forecasting and budget tracking.Minimum 2+ years of project management experience, particularly in electrical utility projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Asset Suite 8.Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) accounting & forecasting principles.Experience in procurement activities and financial forecasting.Must have access to a car and be available to report on-site at least 3 days per week.Experience managing medium voltage (12kV - 69kV) utility projects.Knowledge of real estate easements, zoning, and permitting processes.Familiarity with the electrical utility grid and infrastructure.Experience as an Owner's Architect or Owner's Engineer.Background in financial forecasting and budget management beyond initial cost estimation.Ability to handle complex projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.Certifications: PMP or CAPM (preferred).Our client is a leading electric and natural gasIndustry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
