Senior Architect $85,000-$115,000Birmingham, ALWere excited to welcome a full-time, in-office Senior Project Architect to our clients dynamic team. If you have the skills and experience to collaborate with clients and design teams on a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, new construction, and renovations, wed love to hear from you!What Youll Do:Conduct research, programming, planning, design, and project administration, using your expertise in architectural design, construction detailing, procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials/systems.Develop conceptual plans, renderings, and documentation.Plan and program layout of projects, integrating engineering elements into cohesive designs for client review and approval.Use computer-aided design software to prepare project designs and plans.Produce detailed construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit.Collaborate with the Project Manager, supervising and reviewing team activities during the Conceptual, Schematic, and Detailed Design Phases.Work closely with the Director of Architecture and Project Managers to ensure project success.Research and coordinate materials and products for project specifications.What Were Looking For:A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.10-15+ years of experience across all design stages.Extensive knowledge of various construction types, current building codes, and ADA regulations.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.Licensed Architect certification is required.Skills and Competencies:Strong oral and written communication skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional attention to detail.Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.Strong interpersonal and team-building skills, with a collaborative management style.Technically creative and open-minded.Comprehensive understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, construction methods, and site requirements.Join us to lead impactful projects while growing within a supportive and innovative environment!This position requires a US Citizenship or Green Card as the client is not able to provide sponsorship.At our clients' request, only individuals with the required experience will be considered.Please note - if you have recently submitted your resume to a PangeaTwo posting, your qualifications will be considered for other open opportunities.Your resume will never be submitted to a client without your prior knowledge and consent to do so.
