Position SummaryThe Agency Director (AD) is a full-time position. The AD is responsible for the oversight and management of daily operations. The AD should be an excellent communicator who's able to grasp client needs and problem solve ways to fulfill them. The primary goal will be to ensure growth of services, quality management, and positive employee relations. The AD promotes Sunny Days mission and vision in daily operations. The AD is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with families, clients, employees, and referral sources. The ideal candidate will have a license for Registered Nurse, home care experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for providing high quality care to persons in their homes. ResponsibilitiesOversees daily operations to ensure consistency and effectiveness of service deliveryImplements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulationsDevelops Standard Operating Procedures as needed for employee resourcesBuilds and maintains strong relationships to ensure positive customer satisfactionMonitors and evaluates the performance of staff and implements training and development opportunitiesAttends monthly management meetings and supervision meetings as necessaryManages any complaints or concerns that arise and works to resolve them with professionalism and timelinessCollaborates with partners in communities to coordinate client care or promote our servicesRemains up to date with changes that impact the business Participates in strategic planning and goal setting for the agencyRepresents the agency at community events, conferences, and other networking opportunitiesAttends mandatory meetings and eventsOther assigned duties from Executive Director of Operations or CEOEnsures a Quality Improvement plan is implemented, documented, reviewed, and updated routinelyVisits each client within 24-48 hours following a fall, injury, or hospitalizationAssessments for caregivers and clients per state guidelinesSkill RequirementsLeadership: Ability to effectively lead and manage a teamCommunication: Strong verbal and written communication skillsProblem Solving: Ability to think critically, analyze situations, and develop solutionsCustomer Services: Strong focus on high quality care and service deliveryInterpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and manage conflict with successAdaptability: Flexible to adapt to ever changing conditions within the industry and willingness to improveQualificationsA current Registered Nurse licensed in North CarolinaMinimum 3 years of home care experience is preferredMinimum of 5 years of management experience preferredMinimum of 5 years of nursing experience preferredProven leadership skills including the ability to motivate and inspire staff, resolve conflict, and make decisionsValid Driver' s license and reliable transportationCurrent auto insurance and registrationJob Safety AnalysisThe AD position may entail walking, sitting for extended periods of time, standing, driving, ascending, and descending stairways, bending, lifting, carrying, and typing.Resources and Equipment UsageComputer, lap-top, or tabletTelephone and cellular smartphoneCopier/printerFax machineBenefits:Quarterly bonus9 paid holidaysPaid Time Off accrued from the date of hirePay increases for performanceMedical, Dental, & Vision benefits
