Job Title: Outside Sales Representative - Paper Sales (CA/NV Territory)Location: California & Nevada (Travel Required)Position Overview:We are seeking a results-driven, experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the paper sales industry, specifically targeting the retail side of the business, including grocery stores and supermarkets. This individual will be responsible for expanding our customer base, maintaining existing relationships, and driving sales within a defined territory (California & Nevada). The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the paper sales industry, particularly in retail sales, with a proven track record of success. Key Responsibilities:Sales Generation & Growth: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the grocery store and supermarket sector, focusing on paper products.Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in retail businesses.Territory Management: Manage all aspects of sales in the designated territory (California & Nevada), with a focus on driving revenue growth in the region.Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of our paper products and industry trends, ensuring customers receive the best possible solutions to meet their needs.Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales activities, provide accurate forecasts, and report regularly on performance metrics and goals.Travel: Regular travel throughout the CA & NV territory will be required, mostly via car for face-to-face meetings, site visits, and trade shows as necessary.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the paper industry, within the retail sector (grocery stores, supermarkets). Candidates with a background in industrial or institutional paper sales (e.g., janitorial, packaging) will also be considered if they have experience selling to retail markets.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the paper sales industry, particularly in retail environments. Experience selling paper products like packaging, tissue, and paper towels to grocery stores, supermarkets, or large retail chains.Sales Skills: Proven ability to close sales, build relationships, and drive business growth. Strong negotiation and communication skills.Self-Motivated & Independent: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay motivated to achieve sales goals.Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the territory regularly.
