Landmark Construction is looking for an experienced Bid Coordinator to assist the Preconstruction/Estimating Department on a full-time basis. The ideal team member is highly organized with strong communication and collaboration skills, who thrives on the energy of bid day. CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. We find the skillsets we cultivate to play hard are the very same that we use to complete our projects to the highest standards.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BID COORDINATOR:Work with the Preconstruction/Estimating team to facilitate the bid process, including preparation of required forms for bid and proposals, monitoring of timeline, management of bid and proposal dates and subcontractor coordinationManage approximately 10 - 20 bids and/or opportunities per monthResearch bids and proposal opportunities, including future opportunitiesAssist with preparation of Statement of Qualifications, coordinating input from various sourcesBid document tracking and distribution, including plans, specifications and addendaIssue appropriate requests for bid to subcontractorApply understanding of certain bid requirements including specific applicable government programsRecruit additional subcontractors to register/bid on projectsManagement of Landmark Subcontractor Prequalification ProgramReview bids and bidders for appropriate licensing and conformance with bid requirementsImplement applicable document control and communication for bid teamMaintain good subcontractor and community relationshipsAttend job walks and/or schedule job walk attendees as requiredPersonal contact with subcontractors via phone and e-mailMaintain subcontractor list via SmartBidNetMaintain bid list, bid files and recordsDistribute bid resultsProduce organized and comprehensive final bid file for presentation to clients and project teamsAdditional duties as needed by the companyYOU HAVE [3 - 5 YEARS CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE] AND:Prior experience in preconstruction, bid or proposal roleSome understanding of construction plansExcellent communication skillsAbility to work under pressure of meeting constant deadlinesAbility to multi-task and prioritizeStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to follow throughMust be thorough and attentive to detailStrong Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook userFamiliar with "bid day" or "war room"Commercial experience okBONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:Experience working with a general contractorExperience with SmartBidNetExperience with SalesforceMarketing experienceBENEFITS:We offer competitive wages depending on experience with opportunities for professional growth.
